The 46-year-old Italian leader posted a selfie with PM Modi on his Instagram handle and captioned the post with the hashtag ‘#melody’, “Good friends at COP28”. By the time the news was written, the post had received more than 13,700 likes and many comments.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi met Meloni on the sidelines of the COP28 meeting and said India and Italy were looking for a sustainable and prosperous future.

“Happy Birthday @NarendraModi. A friend committed to building the future and proud of the history of a great nation close to Italy,” he wrote in Italian.
